Shinkansen Kodama runs from Tokyo through Kyoto and Osaka to the final destination Fukuoka in Kyushu. It is operated by the Japan Railways Group (JR) and it stops at all stations on Shinkansen Line, which takes twice as long as Nozomi. However, its price sets lower and the timetable is more frequent.
